Job Summary

Our office in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a BIM Modeler to assist with designing buildings and providing technical support to our structural projects in areas such as Life Sciences, Tech, Civic, Education, Mixed-use, and Healthcare.

In this role you will:

1. Assist with developing drawing sets, plans and details with Engineers.
2. Develop and co-ordinate construction documents.
3. May act as a coordinator on projects.

You will be a great fit if you have been BIM Modeling and drafting for a few years and love it. You're passionate about designing residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and healthcare buildings. You love to collaborate with a technically proficient team, and you never stop growing.

Skills / Abilities:

1. Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture / Engineering or Construction.
2. 3-5 years of structural drafting experience and a minimum of 1 year experience with Revit Structure.
3. Experience in drafting / modelling steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures for buildings. Experience in Architecture modelling will be considered. Previous experience in Building Science environment is a bonus.
4. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
5. Ability to work with design team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills. French and English capacity would be beneficial but not mandatory.
7. Able to work with the design team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
8. Ability to work overtime when required.

Travel: Little to no travel required.
