Hiring Requirements:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager for Revenue Growth Management (RGM) who will lead the execution of strategies that optimize revenue growth, profitability, and market share. Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Growth Management, this role will be responsible for executing channel/pricing strategies with the customer teams. Review and communicate results of implemented customer strategies. Monitor and communicate KPI’s by brand and customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO):
    • Conduct in-depth analyses of promotional performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities. Execute pricing and promotional strategies to maximize ROI, volume, profit, and share.
    • Summarize insights and recommendations to sales teams through a clear alignment on meeting Retailer and Bimbo Canada objectives (i.e. growing profit pool).
    • Track and report on KPIs such as trade spend ROI through post-mortem analysis on key feature programs reporting on incremental revenue, margin contribution, promo efficiency and volume growth.
    • Communicate pricing guidelines and promotional tactics clearly to internal stakeholders.
  2. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Analyze customer and channel performance metrics, including price elasticity, portfolio segmentation, and margin structures.
    • Leverage advanced analytics to forecast the impact of pricing and promotional changes on business outcomes.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner and liaison with Brand Marketing, Sales, Supply Planning, Omnichannel Marketing & Field Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies.
    • Establish, and share the capabilities and benefits of RGM across the organization.
    • Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, including trade planning, performance report, pricing approval process and monthly RGM dashboard.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Finance, Category Management/Insights and/or Commercial Strategy would be an asset.
  • Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) would be preferred.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and storytelling insights to present to sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in trade promotion planning (TPM/TPO) systems or revenue management software is an asset.
  • Experience with Consumer Insights/Intelligence Data like Nielsen is an asset.
  • Strong financial knowledge and the ability to build recommendations to meet business priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Action-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering measurable results.
  • Must be proactive and performance-driven and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative thinker with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office tools specifically Microsoft Excel.
