Job description

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, the Revenue Accounting Analyst, Finance is responsible for supporting the Revenue Accounting and Sales teams with the E-ticket +, BIDT audit processes, commission expense calculations and approvals. Works with our outsourced providers to ensure accuracy and completeness of the E-ticketing/BIDT audit recovery process and distribution of commission payments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Support the fare and BIDT e-ticket audit process.
  2. Liaise with travel agencies and sales teams to resolve violation discrepancies and billing disputes.
  3. Liaise with revenue management and distribution teams for input into fare filing issues raised by third-party fare auditor, travel agencies or GDS.
  4. Ensure accuracy and validity of ADMs raised by third-party auditor.
  5. Provide reporting input to sales teams/financial planning partner of audit results.
  6. Highlight any trends from fare/BIDT results.
  7. Review monthly commission payments within defined thresholds.
  8. Raise ADMs for chargebacks related to travel agency bookings.
  9. Raise ACMs authorized by the sales department.
  10. Provide input to security department for any trends in chargebacks/fraud related to GDS bookings.
  11. Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications:

  1. 2-3 years of GDS experience, particularly Sabre, Travelport and/or Amadeus.
  2. Previous airline industry experience with knowledge of e-ticket lifecycle.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business or Accounting.
