About the role:

The Trainer will be responsible for the facilitation of engaging learning experiences through online and face-to-face training sessions. With direction from the Manager, Learning and Development, the trainer will provide the Field Team with stellar sales skills training leveraging a mix of sales methodologies and processes.

Location: Greater Montreal Area

What you’re responsible for:

  1. Delivering key aspects of the new employee onboarding program (online and in-person)
  2. Creating, executing, and maintaining the Training Program
  3. Demonstrating compliance and training excellence through updates and regular reporting
  4. Working with Regional Managers to ensure training and development is thriving in situ and providing feedback and coaching to employees
  5. Collaborating with the Regional Managers in your area to support regional training assessment, determining needs, and new employee performance execution
  6. Consulting and collaborating with HQ partners on large-scale training initiatives
  7. Developing training strategies that maximize engagement, retention, and adoption
  8. Incorporating change management methodologies into training strategies
  9. Supporting and/or leading the training content creation and delivery process
  10. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure training is integrated into the relevant training programs
  11. Delivering training and train-the-trainers for initiative, program, product education, and cyclical training as needed
  12. Occasionally traveling with employees within your area for ongoing training and coaching
  13. Maintaining a working knowledge of role overview documents for all field roles
  14. Evaluating and reporting on training strengths and opportunities in your region
  15. Supporting in the planning and execution of training strategies
  16. Being an ambassador for our brand, setting an example of training excellence for our staff
  17. Providing ongoing feedback and insight to maximize retail training impact, platforms, and resources

To be successful:

  1. Excellent knowledge of training methods as well as organizational change management expertise
  2. Excellent knowledge of Sales Processes and Skills
  3. Experience in the consumer subscription services industry is an asset (Door to Door sales an asset)
  4. Experience in facilitating groups online using engagement tools (polling, gamification)
  5. Strong working proficiency in Webex, MS Teams, and other online training vehicles
  6. Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  7. Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  8. Experience with video creation considered an asset

  1. Ability to capture an audience and inspire change (Bilingual an asset)
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as education, organizational development, human resources, business administration, communications, etc. is an asset
  3. 2+ years’ experience working in training delivery, teaching, coaching and/or facilitation experience
  4. Must possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
  5. Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities
  6. Superior organizational and planning skills are required
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English (Bilingual is an asset)
  8. Strong capacity for adaptability and creativity
  9. Infectious growth mindset and collaborative excellence on short timeframes
  10. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
