Harvard Developments is looking for a motivated and creative Retail Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Currents of Windermere Shopping Centre in Edmonton. If you’re passionate about driving traffic, increasing sales, and creating engaging experiences in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you!

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a critical role in executing the marketing strategy and budget for the shopping centre. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our engaged team to deliver outstanding customer service, develop innovative marketing campaigns, and contribute to the overall success of the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Marketing Execution: Assist the Director, Brand & Experience in creating and executing a strategic marketing plan, including advertising, promotions, and community events that drive traffic to the centre.
• Event Programming: Plan and execute engaging events year-round in collaboration with our retailers and community partners to enhance the shopping centre’s visibility and customer experience.
• Budget Management: Manage and implement marketing budgets, and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting.
• Social Media & Digital Marketing: Lead our social media and digital presence, creating and curating content for our website and social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). You’ll collaborate with influencers to amplify the shopping centre’s message and showcase our retailers.
• Gift Card Program: Develop and promote the shopping centre’s Gift Card program, ensuring its success and growth.
• Event Coordination: Schedule and manage promotional and community events at the shopping centre, overseeing their seamless execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A background in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience in a corporate or retail setting.
• Proven event planning and execution experience.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Negotiation skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings during peak retail seasons.
