Retail Associate, Columbia Icefield

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will create lasting memories for our guests every time they walk into our store.

What will your compensation be?
The starting salary for this position is $17.00 per hour.

• Oversee the sales of souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry.
• Assist as needed in the Photo Department.
• Uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display.
• Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, handling cash and credit cards responsibly.
• Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized.
• Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
• Apply upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives.
• Collect feedback forms from customers, answer the phone, and facilitate efficient inventory management.
• Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be excited about living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment.
• Previous guest service and cash handling experience is an asset.
• Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• Speaking a second language is an asset.
• Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
