Retail and Café Worker

Food Less Travelled is looking for a few enthusiastic food lovers to help us serve our ever-growing customer base. We have very discerning loyal customers who look forward to superior personalized service. We need friendly and outgoing self-starters who enjoy meeting new people and maintaining great customer relationships. We need people with the skill set to ensure Food Less Travelled fulfills its commitment to being a go-to destination for all things local food. Our services are part of the heartbeat of our community which includes all of Frontenac County and surrounding areas. This position is the perfect fit for those with experience in the retail sales and marketing industry and/or hospitality and tourism. It should also be attractive to those looking for a reliable sales position that pays steadily by the hour, is close to home and does not require late evening work or travel.

Responsibilities

1. Stock shelves
2. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
3. Develop product knowledge
4. Support and monitor marketing programs: signage, website & social media activity
5. Take orders in an organized, effective and detailed manner
6. Resolve customer issues with investigation
7. Participate in the routine cleaning and regular maintenance of the retail area including inside and outside
