Restaurant Supervisor - Front Of House

We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to assist with overseeing the daily operational tasks of the restaurant, including team member management, sanitation and safety.

JOB DUTIES

1. Coordinate team member selection, training, scheduling and development of direct reports and ensure all team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
2. Assist with monitoring storage, preparation, cooking, handling and serving of all food and beverage products to ensure correct recipe, portion, and specification standards; control and minimize waste.
3. Ensure proper food safety and cleanliness standards are observed at all times (including food temperatures, refrigerator temperatures, food storage and display).
4. Represent the restaurant, as well as the resort, to the restaurant customers in a positive manner.
5. Supervise the condition, repair and appearance of all equipment; report any malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager.
6. Assist with coordinating daily and weekly menu specials based on food availability.
7. Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned such as starting equipment and cleaning the grill and surrounding area, as well as other kitchen equipment.
8. Assist with handling customer complaints and problems in a professional manner.
9. Work as scheduled and as necessary in any position in the restaurant, and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Minimum of one year restaurant supervisory experience
3. Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant administration, food preparation and food safety
4. Basic math skills
5. Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills.
6. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
7. Demonstrated leadership abilities
8. Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
