Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow
- Manage and train restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and dishwashers
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring adherence to company standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menu offerings
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
