Hourly Wage: $19.00 per hour
Work Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Education Requirement: College diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (restaurant experience preferred)
Responsibilities:
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating Daily Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pizza restaurant to ensure smooth running, coordinating daily activities to meet restaurant policies, standards, and specifications.
- Food Quality and Service: Ensuring that all foods are consistently prepared and served according to correct recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. Acting as an intermediary between the pizza kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth coordination.
- Customer Relations: Handling customer complaints, responding accurately to resolve them in a timely and professional manner. Greeting and soliciting feedback from customers to maintain satisfaction.
- Staff Management: Assisting in recruiting, training, and employee development to manage the employee life cycle. Assigning staff duties, setting work schedules, supervising shifts, and appraising staff performance to improve productivity.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Managing inventory to ensure all pizza ingredients and supplies are properly stocked. Controlling operational costs, identifying measures to reduce waste, and creating reports to track costs against budgets.
- Hygiene and Safety: Ensuring the food preparation area and kitchen are always cleaned and sanitized in compliance with restaurant hygiene regulations. Ensuring all health and safety standards are met in the pizza-making process.
- Supplier Relations and Inventory: Negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality products at the best value. Estimating future needs for goods and reporting shortages.
- Marketing and Development: Managing the restaurant’s image and suggesting improvements by implementing policies and protocols. Recommending new pizza menu items based on seasonal ingredients or trends.
- Event Planning and Client Relations: Maintaining client relations and working with external vendors to ensure all events are properly planned and executed.
- Performance Optimization: Collecting customer feedback to improve offerings and monitoring sales data to optimize menu pricing. Managing staff schedules, payroll, and employee training and development.
