Restaurant Manager Position

Mama Panda Restaurant located at 9608, 100 Street, Fort St. John, BC is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager at a rate of $35/hr.

Employment Requirements:

1. 1+ year of restaurant manager experience and at least 2+ years of restaurant experience (kitchen staff and front server experience required).
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful work environment.
3. Management knowledge and ability.
4. Knowledge of Chinese food is an asset (as we are a Chinese Cuisine Restaurant).
5. Computer knowledge, proficient in internet, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Spreadsheet.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
2. Develop budget to determine cost of food.
3. Evaluate daily operations.
4. Monitor revenues to determine labor cost.
5. Plan and organize daily operations.
6. Recruit staff.
7. Set staff work schedules.
8. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
9. Cost products and services.
10. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
11. Organize and maintain inventory.
12. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
13. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
14. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
15. Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
16. Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
17. Provide customer service.
