Restaurant Manager Position
Mama Panda Restaurant located at 9608, 100 Street, Fort St. John, BC is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager at a rate of $35/hr.
Employment Requirements:
- 1+ year of restaurant manager experience and at least 2+ years of restaurant experience (kitchen staff and front server experience required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful work environment.
- Management knowledge and ability.
- Knowledge of Chinese food is an asset (as we are a Chinese Cuisine Restaurant).
- Computer knowledge, proficient in internet, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Spreadsheet.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
- Develop budget to determine cost of food.
- Evaluate daily operations.
- Monitor revenues to determine labor cost.
- Plan and organize daily operations.
- Recruit staff.
- Set staff work schedules.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Cost products and services.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
- Provide customer service.
