Position Purpose
A Response Operator screens and assigns incoming phone calls and provides administrative support to the public, RCMP and Police Services support staff.
Duties
- Processes and responds to all incoming calls and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide general information to the public regarding police policies and regulations.
- Creates, maintains and distributes resource material.
- Provides training to new team members.
- Regularly monitor, transfer and respond to Police Services email proxies.
- Creates, updates and maintains documents and information into databases.
- Performs general clerical administrative duties.
- Assists with scanning information and entering updates on various RCMP/Police Specific databases and programs.
- Provide administrative support to assist various departments as/when required.
Additional Hiring Information
Pay Rate: Starts at $28.37 per hour
