Purpose of Your Position

A Response Operator screens and assigns incoming phone calls and provides administrative support to the public, RCMP, and Police Services support staff.

Duties

  1. Processes and responds to all incoming calls and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Provides general information to the public regarding police policies and regulations.
  3. Creates, maintains, and distributes resource material.
  4. Provides training to new team members.
  5. Regularly monitors, transfers, and responds to Police Services email proxies.
  6. Creates, updates, and maintains documents and information in databases.
  7. Performs general clerical administrative duties.
  8. Assists with scanning information and entering updates on various RCMP/Police specific databases and programs.
  9. Provides administrative support to assist various departments as/when required.

Additional Hiring Information

Pay Rate: Starts at $28.37 per hour

Standard Hours per Day: 7
Hours of Work: 8:00am-4:00pm x 3, 4:00pm-12:00am x 3, followed by 3 days off
