Respite Foster Care Provider

Bruce Grey Child and Family Services is urgently seeking individuals, couples or families who will provide respite, part-time or full-time foster care in or out of their home for a sweet 9-year-old girl “R”. R sleeps approximately 12 hours each night. She is not known to have any aggression or aggressive behaviors. She enjoys toddler type toys and loves her iPad which she doesn’t require any assistance with. She requires constant supervision when awake. She eats some food and is also G-tube fed and requires a feeding 4 times a day between 8am and 8pm. R has a few words and can also communicate in other ways to make her needs known. R wears Pull Up style underpants as she is not yet toilet trained and with support is able to assist in dressing herself. R participates in school and day programming. Financial compensation, training and ongoing support will be offered.
