Job Description: Provides general and specialized respiratory treatments, diagnostic testing, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other related duties.

Experience:

1. Experience in critical care is an asset
2. Experience in pulmonary function testing is an asset
3. Experience in cardiac stress testing is an asset

Education:

1. Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)

Licenses:

1. Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training:

1. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an asset

Competencies:

1. Basic - Communication skills
2. Basic - Leadership skills
3. Basic - Computer skills
4. Basic - Interpersonal skills
5. Basic - Organizational skills

Knowledge and Abilities:

1. Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite

Other Information:

1. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate (ACLS) is an asset
2. HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
3. Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
4. Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT)
5. Registered/eligible with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT)
