A Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients and their families, working in alignment with the standards of the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and within a client-centered care model. This dedicated professional provides ongoing respiratory care to individuals with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including both acute and chronic cardio-respiratory diseases, in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Whether working independently or as part of a collaborative healthcare team, the Respiratory Therapist ensures optimal care through consultation and teamwork with other healthcare professionals. Committed to continuous improvement, they employ best practices in their field, consistently advancing their clinical competence and contributing to committees, teams, and research initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
• Current valid Driver’s License.
