Oakridge Landscape Contractors has a need for a Residential Landscape Construction Foreperson to join our dynamic team of talented individuals! Overview:

Pay: $25-32
Benefits: After 3 months
Company Events: Annual boot allowance after one year of employment
Work: Year-round work available

Job Description:

The Residential Landscape Construction Foreperson is in charge of managing a crew of 3-5 people on residential job sites. Work includes planting trees, grass, and gardens, laying driveways and patios, and building walls, fences, etc.

Key Duties Include:

1. Drive company truck and trailer.
2. Installation of natural stone (flag, armour, etc).
3. Installation of interlock paving stone.
4. Installation of precast pavers and retaining walls.
5. Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
6. Trim shrubs and evergreens.

Job Requirements:

1. Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
2. Clean Driver’s Abstract.
3. Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management.
4. Experience in stone masonry is a strong asset.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
6. Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
7. Meet with subcontractors and supervise quality, efficiency, and deadlines.
8. Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
10. Candidates must have keen attention to detail.
11. Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday.
