We are seeking a dedicated and experienced building services team to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our building and amenity. Our client is looking for 2 full-time building concierge/managers and 2 part-time concierges for weekday Monday to Friday, and weekend Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Depending on the position, the ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, building management experience, and a sound understanding of strata living. This role requires proactive individuals who can reach out to residents effectively, educate and uphold the building bylaws, and ensure the building operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the concierge desk, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the standards required by the strata.
Manage projects and incidents in the building and amenity, including emergency response, investigation, planning and execution, follow-up, and reporting to management.
Oversee building maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building standards.
Organize visiting contractors and residents necessary to enhance operational efficiency and ensure health and safety procedures for comfortable living.
Utilize computerized management systems at the concierge desk for tracking requests, scheduling works, facility booking, inventory control, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with the strata manager, head office, and onsite representatives to ensure seamless building operation.
Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the building to identify maintenance needs, security risks, and safety hazards.
Qualifications
Proven skills with experience in supervising a concierge desk in a modern building and amenity management context.
Strong building management capacity with a track record of customer service and facilities coordination.
Knowledge of building maintenance practices and principles.
Ability to read and understand bylaws related to strata condo living.
Familiarity with emergency handling, basic troubleshooting in strata, and residents' needs.
Excellent command of English for effective communication within the team and towards residents.
Strong interpersonal and reasoning skills to assess situations quickly and deal with residents' complaints.
