Description
The Faculty of Nursing invites applications for 2 (two) Research Nurse. This Fixed Term Recurring Part-time position is for approximately 9 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
The LATCH Lab aims to transform health care provision to enhance child health outcomes for vulnerable populations, specifically infants who experience adverse early life exposures. We routinely engage clinicians, patients/parents, and policy makers in our research to ensure that outcomes are meaningful and understandable to the knowledge user.
As a member of the team, the Research Nurse will report to Dr. Meredith (Merilee) Brockway, Assistant Professor and will coordinate clinical activities linked to the LATCH Lab. This will include providing leadership to the research assistants, liaising with patient/parent partners, supporting project collaborators, championing the research study in the clinical setting, recruiting participants, assisting in data collection, and participating in knowledge translation activities. The Research Nurse will work independently and collaboratively on day-to-day duties, providing direct support to the study lead and clinical staff.
