Research Associate in Communication Networks or Cybersecurity

A research associate position is available in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University to develop novel solutions for communication networks or cybersecurity under the supervision of Dr. Qiang Ye. The position is for two years and is renewable based on funding availability. The anticipated start date of the position is July 1, 2025. The salary will be in the range of $50000 to $55000, commensurate with experience.

The candidate is expected to:

1. have completed their Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. have performed original research in the area of communication networks or cybersecurity
3. have an outstanding publication record, as evidenced by the annual publication of multiple research papers in prestigious IEEE or ACM journals such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks
4. have excellent English communication skills (oral and writing)
