This is an on-site position based out of Calgary, AB Downtown office.

About the role:

As a Research Analyst within our Calgary brokerage, you'll play a pivotal role providing a range of research and analytical support services to the Calgary Office team. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise to help us lead our industry into the future.

  1. Prepare research publications: Based on the office real estate market, this includes market commentary and various research content including presentations, market reports, and white papers as needed.
  2. Gather, track and manage data: Obtain information from relevant sources (e.g. listings, comparables) and enter into the CRM+ database and/or other relevant systems.
  3. Assist with compilation, verification, and publication of office market data: Follow Colliers’ standard processes and collaborate with the Data Team to troubleshoot data issues and ensure the proper Data Governance is followed and ensuring accuracy.
  4. Participate in meetings: Engage with industry professionals in sales and research meetings and local events to enhance relationship and market knowledge.
  5. Stay up-to-date: Keep up on market trends and current events to inform ongoing projects, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality in deliverables.

What you bring:

  1. Degree and/or diploma in: Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.
  2. 2+ years of research experience, preferably in: Commercial Real Estate.
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 suites including Excel, Word, PowerPoint: BI, data visualization and GIS tools would be an asset.
  4. Exceptional communication skills: writing and analytical skills with the ability to confidently present data and market insights to clients.
  5. Strong networking and relationship-building ability: proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.
