Job Description:

Parsons is currently seeking a talented and experienced Requirements & Configuration Manager (Aviation) to join our team to provide support to an airport construction project. As a crucial member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in gathering, analyzing, and managing requirements and configuration management aspects for the program.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Requirement Management
   1. Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
   2. Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with project needs and objectives.
   3. Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation.
   4. Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
   5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
   6. Develop and execute plans to validate and verify requirements, ensuring they meet technical standards and operational needs.
   7. Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, validation processes, and outcomes.
2. Configuration Management
   1. Prepare a Configuration Management Plan (CMP) aligned with project goals and operational requirements.
   2. Establish a method of planning, conducting, and archiving both Functional (FCA) and Physical (PCA) audits of requirements and technical data respectively.
   3. Prepare Technical Data Packages.
   4. Participate and contribute to the planning and conduct of the SE technical reviews.
   5. Provide training and support to team members on configuration management processes and tools.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analysis, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or requirements management roles.
3. Proficiency in using requirements management software (e.g. DOORS, JIRA, JAMA, COMPLYPRO etc.).
4. Proficiency in using configuration management software and tools.
5. Experience using agile framework development methods and processes.
6. Broad systems engineering experience including early concept development, requirements analysis, design, test and evaluation, and risk assessment.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong critical thinking skills.
8. Ability to interact effectively with and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams, including industry and government sponsors.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Experience working within aviation programs.
2. Advanced degree in systems engineering.
3. Experience integrating models across multiple software applications to perform detailed analysis by leveraging data from several engineering domains.
