The Reporting Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards, assisting with the analysis and reporting of business data across various departments. This role will focus on data analysis, reporting automation, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making and performance improvement. The position is responsible for analyzing and reporting on performance to improve results and facilitate future goal setting as well as reviewing current processes to improve efficiency, quality, and accuracy. Proficiency in Power BI is required, and experience with SQL is preferred, as the role involves working with large datasets and optimizing data retrieval. The position also requires expertise in Excel, data visualization tools, and an understanding of business data from CRMs like Salesforce, as well as the ability to produce polished reports that provide valuable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting: Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on key business data to provide insights that drive strategic decisions. This includes data cleaning, trend identification, and performance analysis across various departments and business functions.
  2. Report Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain routine and ad-hoc reports for business leaders and teams. Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and aligned with business objectives. Provide actionable insights through Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  3. Dashboard & Data Visualization: Build and maintain interactive dashboards to provide real-time business data insights through CRM reporting or Data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored dashboards to track business performance.
  4. Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities for automating reporting processes and improving data accuracy and efficiency. Develop automated reporting systems that reduce manual efforts and improve data accessibility.
  5. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across business units. Provide regular updates on performance, highlight trends, and identify areas for improvement. Use advanced Excel functions, SQL queries, and other tools to analyze large datasets and draw actionable conclusions.
  6. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Finance, Marketing) to gather data requirements and deliver reports that align with business needs. Provide training and support to team members on report interpretation and usage.
  7. Ad-hoc Reporting & Projects: Manage ad-hoc reporting and analytical projects as needed by the business. Collaborate with other departments to ensure data analysis supports project objectives and problem resolution. Provide insights that drive process improvement and strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements:

  2. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field (R)
  3. - Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a reporting or data analyst role (R)
  4. - Strong analytical and computer skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, other formulas) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) (R)
  5. - Experience with SQL or other data querying languages (P)
  6. - Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset (P)
  7. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is desirable (P)
  8. - Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python or R) is a plus (A)
  9. - Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
  10. - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  11. - Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate across teams.
  12. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  13. - Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
