Metroland is looking for a curious, creative, and energetic lifestyle and culture reporter to join its Toronto.com team. This is a full-time permanent position.
Metroland is looking for a versatile, creative and enterprising reporter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can give our audiences the news they need in efficient, effective and digestible formats.
This job is quick moving, high-energy and – if you’re wired this way -- really fun. The successful candidate will use digital listening tools and collaborate with editors to understand what the audience is hungry for while staying firmly connected to Metroland’s principles and commitment to quality journalism.
The ideal candidate understands that a story can take on many shapes and incorporates elements including text, photography, graphics, video, audio, social embeds and in-depth interactives. You will use those building blocks to create lists, feature stories, and videos for multiple platforms.
Salary Range: $37,850.13 - $56,829.84
