What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide timely and thorough resolution to customer issues
- Monitor the support call queue and manage new tickets
- Interact with internal departments for issue escalation
- Assist in solving data, architecture, and interface issues
- Develop a deep understanding of application features to address related issues and questions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree or technical college degree in computer sciences, software engineering, software development, or related field
- Familiarity and experience in a Customer Support environment
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and support tickets simultaneously
- Excellent client communication skills and ability to manage customer expectations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience delivering solutions, services, and/or support to the utility industry
- Experience with Customer Information Systems
- Utility industry experience
- Software experience in applications such as Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Uniface, or Web technologies (Node.js, Angular, JavaScript, JSP)
