Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position): $90,710 - $122,726

Regulatory compliance expertise required:

Support all activities of FCC’s regulatory compliance program. You’ll provide expertise for planning program activities in all aspects related to control documentation and control mapping and assessment. You’ll perform testing and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying deficiencies and drafting recommendations for their adequate remediation.

What you’ll do:

  • Advise stakeholders throughout FCC on legal obligations related to regulatory compliance control assessments.
  • Assess compliance-related control design effectiveness and operating effectiveness.
  • Identify regulatory compliance gaps, apply methodologies to assess compliance risk and recommend control improvements, and monitor action plans.
  • Draft test scripts and evidence requests, and execute them efficiently.
  • Prepare thorough control testing documentation.
  • Summarize, debrief, and report on findings.
  • Maintain proper and accurate information in the team’s central repository system.

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, commerce or administration supplemented with an accounting designation and at least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance management practices, control assessment, and governance.
  • Knowledge of audit principles and techniques.
