Event Designer and Corporate Sales

Job Summary:

The Event Designer and Corporate Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, pitching creative event concepts, and closing sales for corporate events and experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event design and planning, strong sales skills, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique needs and objectives of corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and cultivate leads within the corporate sector through networking, referrals, cold calling, and online research to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with corporate clients to understand their event objectives, brand identity, and budget, and present creative event design concepts and proposals that align with their vision and goals.
  • Event Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop customized event designs, themes, and experiences that reflect their brand identity and messaging.
  • Proposal and Contract Preparation: Prepare detailed event proposals and contracts outlining the scope of services, pricing, and terms, and negotiate with clients to secure bookings and contracts for corporate events.
  • Vendor and Venue Management: Liaise with vendors, venues, and other event partners to coordinate logistics, secure necessary permits and licenses, and ensure smooth execution of corporate events, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients throughout the sales process and beyond, providing ongoing communication, support, and assistance to ensure a positive experience from conception to execution.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue targets, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotional materials to target corporate clients, showcase our capabilities, and increase brand visibility in the corporate events market.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to stay informed about industry trends, forge connections with potential clients and partners, and promote our services within the corporate events community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in event design, planning, and sales, preferably in the corporate events industry.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating revenue.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and solutions to corporate clients.
  • Creative flair and innovative thinking, with a passion for designing unique and memorable event experiences.
  • Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate client meetings and events.
