Our Evo Car Share team is looking for a Regular Full-Time Collision Coordinator!
As a Collision Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Evo’s fleet of 2,300+ vehicles. You’ll oversee repair estimates, manage repair cycles, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality results that keep our fleet in top condition. Working closely with the Fixed Operations Manager, you’ll help maintain optimal fleet availability while upholding exceptional standards for Evo members. This dynamic role combines office and field work, requiring adaptability and a hands-on approach to support BC’s most convenient car-sharing service.

What you’ll do:
- Champion change management initiatives across the Evo team.
- Support training, onboarding, and development of team members.
- Execute responsibilities with a focus on the member experience.
- Seek opportunities to go the extra mile for members.
- Assist with member inquiries regarding vehicle repair costs.
- Monitor out-of-service vehicles and damage reports, prioritizing repairs in collaboration with the Fleet Manager and Repair Coordinator.
- Oversee the utilization of parts from the Batcave used parts department.
- Review member accident claim reports to assign repairs to the appropriate shop.
- Assist with ICBC subrogation as necessary.
- Document estimates and repair times to support optimal repair strategies.
- Track repair cycle times and follow up with shops to ensure timely completion.
- Manage parts inventory, including itemizing, tracking, and reconciling.
- Source wholesale pricing from OEM or aftermarket part suppliers as needed.
- Balance workloads across repair vendors to ensure efficiency and competitive pricing.
- Coordinate vehicle repair priorities and assign repair shops in collaboration with the Repair Coordinator.
- Utilize and become proficient in fleet-approved software and systems.
- Work with the Parts Technician and Fleet Manager on vehicle total loss clearing and dismantling.
- Monitor damage reports in the Evo database and determine repair priorities.
- Ensure the team is informed and equipped for all safety initiatives.
- Identify and implement safety best practices in consultation with the Fleet Manager.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain WorkSafe compliance at the Fleet Operations Centre.
- Lead special projects to support Evo and the Collision department as assigned.
What you bring:
- Two-year post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration).
- 2-5 years’ experience estimating in the automotive industry or combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Mitchell and/or Audatex estimating software.
- Collision Repair industry training, trade certification and/or diploma.
- Knowledge of Insurance DRP practices/guidelines.
- Basic CRM Tool Knowledge.
- Valid BC Driver’s License.
The salary range for this position is $54,957.00 to $68,696.16 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
