Regional Sales Manager
Allegion Canada, a market leading manufacturer in the safety and security market, with such key brands as Schlage, is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada. The Regional Sales Manager is part of an energetic team responsible for developing and growing our market share in the region as well as mentoring a team of sales professionals. They are meticulous, strategic, and analytical with the ability to think outside the box. It is imperative that the candidate is proactive and continuously seeks to build an innovative proactive sales approach to win market share. They will be responsible for strengthening the sales, business, and technical knowledge of the regional sales team with a key goal of increasing the overall sales experience for all customers in our industry.
The Sales Manager will interact with all levels of Allegion employees and customers while providing direction to the sales team and driving revenue opportunities. The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty to the full product portfolio of Allegion security products and services.
What You Will Do:
Interpret appropriate distribution for all Allegion brands to meet market demands and execute account rationalization to minimize channel conflict.
Partner with Director Sales to create, implement, and execute annual business plan.
Lead the sales team in accomplishing revenue, pricing, and expense goals.
Manage profitability of brands while maximizing sales through controlled pricing.
Utilize sales and management background/experience to mentor, coach and develop sales team. Responsible for performance management, talent review, employee development, talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Implement and manage new construction/aftermarket strategies with sales team. Drive sales team’s use of CRM software to generate, pursue and track sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and Allegion team.
Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge by gathering market data of competitive activity. Adapt to change in marketplace.
Provide comprehensive reports to Regional Vice President and Business Leaders as required.
Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
Develop local strategies to align with the Long-Range Plan (LRP). Responsible for driving the AOP sales plan, managing costs and overall territory budget to meet financial goals.
Execute channel strategy. Develop new channels for changing strategic needs.
Responsible for Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Add local market intelligence to the demand forecast.
Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, architects, and end user through demand creation activities and channel partner productivity programs.
Drive the use of the sales funnel process in CRM to track and capture both new construction and aftermarket opportunities.
Continuous communication with team to ensure employee engagement in business initiatives, strategy, and overall direction. Host (and present at) team meetings on a continuous basis.
Participate in internal product and program deployment teams.
Understand and provide guidance as it relates to competition.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or Technical field
7+ years sales experience including leadership background.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action.
Strong customer focus
Industry specific experience preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 75%
Must live within Albert or British Columbia

Compensation : This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Base Salary Range: $67,900 - $126,100. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
