Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the Quebec region. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary bridge between the Quebec market and the national head office, ensuring that all national strategies are adapted to suit the specific characteristics and demands of the local market. The successful candidate will be fully bilingual (English and French) and possess deep expertise in the Quebec retail landscape. You will have a key role in shaping business strategy, driving regional growth, and ensuring strong alignment between local operations and national objectives.

As the face of the business in Quebec, you will provide insight on consumer behavior, trends, and competition, ensuring the successful implementation of tailored sales initiatives and marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will lead a dedicated team of sales professionals, working collaboratively to achieve revenue targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Leadership: Develop tailored sales strategies for Quebec, monitor trends, and provide feedback to ensure alignment with local preferences

Communication: Act as a liaison between Quebec sales teams and head office, advocating for regional needs and ensuring effective communication

Sales Performance: Own sales targets, analyze performance data, and manage the sales budget for Quebec

Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high- performing sales team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing training and development

Customer Engagement: Build relationships with key retail partners, execute region- specific promotions, and represent the company at industry events

Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and market insights to inform strategy and decision making

Qualifications:

Bilingual: Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)

Education: Bachelors in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

Experience: 5-7 years in retail sales management, with 3+ years in leadership roles in Quebec

Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and adaptability skills

Travel: Willingness to travel within Quebec and occasionally to other regions

Strategic Vision: Ability to think critically and translate national business objectives into local, actionable plans

Market Adaptability: Deep understanding of Quebec’s consumer landscape, with an ability to adjust sales strategies and product offerings to meet local needs

Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to develop lasting relationships with consumers, key stakeholders, and internal departments

Results- Oriented: A focus on achieving measurable success and meeting or exceeding sales targets
