Make an impact with our Ottawa-Gatineau Regional Marketing team as a Coordinator. This diverse team of professionals leverages creativity and innovation to deliver leading-edge marketing solutions, ensuring MNP’s unique value proposition stands out. As a trusted advisor, you’ll execute marketing campaigns that promote MNP’s brand and support business development efforts through collaboration and value-added insights.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, execute, track, and manage the day-to-day administration of regional marketing. Support the region in all marketing areas, including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website, and social media.
  • Develop and implement office, client group, and service-specific marketing strategies, programs, and activities to support client retention, targeted pursuit plans, and referral mapping.
  • Create campaign briefs and support concept development phases.
  • Assist in reporting on set regional marketing budgets.
  • Track and record relationship development on key business development pursuits.
  • Gather and compile market research for marketing and business development planning.
  • Maintain marketing materials including promotional items, brochures, and trade show equipment.
  • Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department, such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists, and preparing materials for client distribution.
  • Work with regional leaders to identify accounts where further value can be added, using account-based marketing approaches to engage clients.
  • Measure, understand, and report on the impact of marketing activities.
  • Follow up and track business opportunities as a result of marketing and business development activities.
  • Analyze reporting information and make recommendations to plans and programs as required.
  • Build profile and relationships in the regional marketplace, including with local influencers, media, and community partnerships.
  • Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as required.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, project management, English, journalism or another related field.
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • 2 to 4 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience in the professional services industry, including corporate writing, is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of marketing processes, budgeting and project coordination is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
