Position Summary

The Regional Manager, Virtual Health is responsible for leading the planning, design, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of care delivery transformation that utilizes Virtual Health and enabling technologies to connect care teams, including the patient. The Regional Manager, Virtual Health builds and strengthens partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including clinical service areas across Northern Health, to transform care delivery models, including proof of concept projects, full integration within clinical operations, and evaluation in order to increase access to high quality, innovative, appropriate services and to enhance the quality of care across Northern Health services. The Regional Manager, Virtual Health leads a team of staff, as well as project teams, to ensure developments are clinically led and enabled by technology while maintaining collaborative relations with clinical leaders, staff, physicians, Professional Practice and other relevant stakeholders to ensure quality patient care is maintained and that clinical needs are met.

Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field, business administration, or health information plus a minimum five (5) years of recent, related experience in a complex health care environment including progressive quality practice, education, project management and leadership experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Excellent analytical skills to determine information systems issues, hardware and software problem diagnosis.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in the area of coordination, planning, project management, and idea generation functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate systems/technical issues to non-computer users with a high degree of comprehension.
