Your role:
As the Regional Lineup Editor, you will be responsible for producing and distributing information about the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region on digital platforms and radio (ICI Première). You will oversee editorial decisions, writing, and publishing news on Radio-Canada's digital platforms, as well as producing and delivering radio bulletins throughout the day. Your tasks will include determining the angle of news coverage, writing texts, headlines, and lead-ins for radio reports in collaboration with the entire newsroom team. You will also prepare live interventions with journalists and present journalistic content on radio shows.
You will report to the Station Editor-in-Chief in Saguenay. The selected candidate will primarily be assigned to radio and web. The selected candidate may also collaborate on radio/TV news programs.
This is a permanent, part-time (60%) position with a work schedule from Friday to Sunday, totaling 22.5 hours per week. You may also be called upon to fill in from Monday to Thursday based on your seniority and skills, according to the collective agreement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Five (5) years of experience in journalism or equivalent
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of regional, national, and international news
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written French
Good knowledge of English, an asset
Strong ability to organize work to meet newsroom deadlines
Ability to work well in a team
Mastery of communication techniques specific to each media
Very good knowledge of regional newsroom logistics
Familiarity with production software (Scoop, Dalet, Media Central, INews used at Radio-Canada, and digital tools) would be an asset
Knowledge of production techniques
Knowledge of the Society’s journalistic Standards and Practices
