Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Regional Equipment Sales Manager for our Canada/New England Region. This role directs and coordinates activities, at a regional level, related to the sale of Daikin Applied’s equipment and supplies. Location: Remote, but must live within the Region - Eastern Canada (Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec, Montreal)

What you will do:

1. Provide Sales leadership to manufacturers’ sales representatives.
2. Provide feedback to Regional General Manager relative to market sales trends and sales representatives’ product needs.
3. Coordinate all meetings with sales representatives and other stakeholders critical to the sale of products (engineering firms, contractors, Daikin Applied Service, etc.).
4. Provide sales forecast for the region across all products.
5. Meet and exceed prescribed sales targets for the assigned region.
6. Provide training, as needed, in support of product sales.
7. Interact and seek assistance from product sales, national accounts, solutions, and regional operations manager.
8. Evaluate proficiency of manufacturers’ reps relative to maintaining product line sales balance.
9. Interface with various support groups of Daikin to ensure appropriate support to all sales channels, Daikin Applied Factory Service, and Daikin Applied Parts.
10. Communicate with internal support groups relative to market/industry trends in relationship to price, product needs, quality, training/development, and compensation needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable blend of education and additional work experience.
2. 5+ years of related sales experience and leadership.
3. Thorough understanding of Commercial HVAC products and business.
4. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Salesforce experience.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $132,100 - $225,600 CAN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
