Position Overview

Diamond Baseball Holdings is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and energetic leader to oversee marketing operations for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Inland Empire 66ers, and the Ontario Professional Baseball Club. This role will spearhead innovative strategies to increase fan engagement, drive revenue, and maintain brand consistency across all three teams. The ideal candidate will bring extensive marketing experience, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to excellence. This position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Regional Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Inland Empire 66ers, and Ontario Professional Baseball Club while maintaining consistent brand standards and regional objectives.
  2. Budget Oversight: Manage and allocate the regional marketing budget, track return on investment (ROI), and ensure cost-effective marketing strategies.
  3. Creative Direction: Lead the creative team to develop region-wide campaigns, including graphic design, video production, and promotional schedules.
  4. Digital & Traditional Advertising: Manage advertising schedules, content, and design for traditional media, digital platforms, and social media to maximize visibility and engagement across all teams.
  5. Community Engagement: Oversee community outreach programs, including mascot appearances, promotional team initiatives, and grass-roots marketing efforts for all three teams.
  6. Collaborative Revenue Generation: Partner with ticket sales, corporate partnerships, retail, and special events teams to market non-traditional assets and identify new revenue opportunities.
  7. Game-Day Experience Management: Oversee game-day entertainment, including scripts, music, video boards, and in-game promotions, to ensure exceptional fan experiences at all three ballparks.
  8. Public Relations & Communications: Manage external communications, including press releases, media relations, and email marketing campaigns for each team.
  9. Research & Analytics: Conduct market research, leverage SEO strategies, and analyze fan data to inform marketing strategies and enhance paid social efforts across all teams.
  10. Brand Partnerships: Cultivate regional partnerships and barter agreements to build brand awareness and generate revenue.
  11. Fan Engagement: Develop innovative campaigns to grow databases, enhance email marketing strategies, and boost online engagement across all platforms.
  12. Regional Collaboration: Work closely with the General Managers and Senior Leadership across the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Inland Empire 66ers, and Ontario Professional Baseball Club to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. At least 5 years of experience in leading a marketing team, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
  2. Strong expertise in SEO, Google Analytics, and social media strategies.
  3. Proven success in managing multiple projects across diverse markets.
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  6. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive marketing ROI.
  7. Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
  8. Experience in sports marketing, event entertainment, and community engagement is preferred.
  9. Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  10. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.

Location:

This position is based in Southern California and will require regular travel between the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Inland Empire 66ers, and Ontario Professional Baseball Club ballparks.
