Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services major site in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.

About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a temporary full-time Regional Development Manager to join our dynamic Donor Relations and Field Operations team in our Donor Engagement and Corporate Reputation division.
The Donor Relations and Field Operations team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by generating and identifying leads, building a pipeline of potential donors, building relationships, and ensuring the growth and maintenance of a high quality, committed donor base. In this role you will also be responsible for community engagement and maintaining a good public image for the donation centres to ensure there is ongoing public support.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading recruitment efforts to grow and diversify a flexible, sustainable donor base. You will play a critical role in ensuring that recruitment initiatives align with the organization’s goals and values. You will work closely with peers within the region to develop a sustainable donor base and ensure a robust pipeline to support the commitment of Canada’s Lifeline to patients and registrants. You will also be responsible for leading a regional team to develop, nurture, and grow the organization’s donor base in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment. This role oversees, Business Development Managers (hunters), and Community Development Managers (nurturers) to drive partner and group acquisition, retention, growth, and engagement.
