Are you a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about community wellness? We're seeking an enthusiastic Regional Community Health Nurse – Public Health to play a pivotal role in delivering essential health services and programs.

In this role, you will lead a range of comprehensive health programs, including Well-Child/Woman/Man clinics, pre and post-natal care, school health initiatives, and chronic disease management. You will be instrumental in running immunization programs and monitoring communicable diseases, ensuring the community's health and safety. Your expertise will be critical in providing personalized nursing care and managing medical functions such as dispensing medications, all while adhering to high professional standards.

Education and empowerment are key components of your work. You will adapt and deliver patient and family education to meet varied needs, fostering a community that is well-informed and proactive about health. Your ability to apply advanced nursing processes, from assessment to evaluation, will be crucial in delivering top-tier care. With your knowledge of the NWT Public Health Act and the Canadian Immunization Guide, you will ensure the community receives the best possible preventive care.

Minimum Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have the successful completion of a Nursing Degree, AND two (2) years of recent nursing experience in an expanded practice of community health environment AND a minimum of one (1) year of public health experience.
