THE JOBAs a Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage the entire recruitment cycle, from generating new business and bringing in new search assignments/jobs for you to recruit on, building new relationships with clients in the architecture, design, and building engineering industries and sourcing high-quality candidates for the roles you recruit on. You will leverage advanced AI-powered tools to optimize your candidate sourcing and streamline your workflow. You'll also benefit from a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing, helping you reach your full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for architecture, design, and building engineering roles.
- Conduct business development to generate new search assignments to recruit on, building relationships in the industry and sourcing leads to potentially hand off to other teams.
- Negotiate terms of business and contracts with clients.
- Source and engage with qualified candidates through various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to match candidates with specific client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals and clients through cold calls, meetings, emails and other correspondence.
- Provide expert advice to clients and candidates on market trends, job specifications, and career progression.
- Drive your own recruitment strategy, set your goals, and take ownership of your success and running your own desk.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally including on the client/business development side.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fully remote setting.
- If no business development experience, then prior experience in sales is required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a commission-only environment with a focus on achieving high performance.
- Able to work autonomously, self-driven.
- Must have the legal right to work in Canada (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work-Permit).
