Job description

We are ROSS, an innovative provider of HR Technology, Human Resources and Recruitment professional services. We are a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. Our expertise, technology, and flexible approach deliver cash flow and efficiency benefits to our clients. Growing rapidly and gaining national respect for our innovative services, we need to hire a Recruiter for our expanding business.

As a Recruiter, you will use your proficiency in recruitment to help our clients succeed. You will work with ROSS clients to improve their recruitment process including reducing their time to hire, increasing the quality of their candidate pool and reducing their costs.

You will manage the recruitment process including creating dynamic job descriptions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates then liaising and negotiating with clients throughout the process including offer letters and reference checks. You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining excellent customer relations.

You will also be responsible for participating in our consultative sales model and developing new business. This requires the ability to search for prospects, identify qualified leads and make contact with clients. You will interact primarily with management on a consultative level and properly position our complete recruitment service offerings.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  1. University degree or college diploma in related field to Human Resources Administration or Business Administration/ Commerce or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  2. 2-5 years of recruitment experience, contingency/executive search experience is preferred.
  3. You have experience recruiting for technology roles.
  4. Excellent sourcing, networking, qualifying, interviewing and referencing skills.
  5. Outstanding communication and written skills.
  6. High energy, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
  7. You have a professional and consultative style.
  8. You're optimistic, positive and passionate.
  9. You have a proven record of developing client relationships and you're a real 'people-person'.
  10. You're self-motivated, conscientious and committed with the ability to take initiative and stick with it until you deliver exceptional results.
  11. You're organized and process oriented and can effectively manage time, priorities and tasks to reach your objectives.
  12. You're able to multi-task effectively so that nothing falls between the cracks.
  13. You're a creative problem solver who is able to look at problems from different angles in order to deliver innovative and effective results to provide a win-win solution.
  14. You have a willingness to learn and teach new methods, concepts and processes to deliver superior and new solutions.
  15. You have the ability and desire to attend after hour networking meetings and events.

Location:

You'll be working out of our open concept loft-style office in Liberty Village in downtown Toronto. You must also have or be willing to get reliable transportation to meet with clients across the GTA on occasion (could include locations not readily accessible by public transportation).

Salary plus Commission:

We offer a competitive salary plus commission compensation plan with no cap on income potential. We’re looking for people who are looking to earn in excess of $100k. In addition to your salary and commission, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefit package as a permanent employee.
