The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our high-achieving, diverse, innovative team. The Recruiter will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the project management landscape and experience in recruiting for specialized roles. This role will report to the HR Manager.

This is a full-time, non-remote position based in downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and recruit candidates for various project controls consulting positions.
  2. Job Descriptions & Postings: Prepare recruitment materials, create job descriptions, and post jobs to appropriate mediums.
  3. Candidate Management: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview coordination, gather interview notes and feedback, communicate with applicants during and after the interview process, and offer negotiation.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with HR, hiring managers, and senior leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  5. Networking: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
  6. Employer Branding: Promote Dokainish & Company as an employer of choice through branding initiatives and candidate engagement activities.
  7. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and labor market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
  8. Reporting: Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports regularly.
  9. Point of Contact: Serve as liaison and point of contact for all recruiting activities and relationships.
  10. Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a project management consultancy or related industry.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of project management and project controls practices will be a great asset.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  11. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  12. Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  13. Ability to commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required); this is a full-time, non-remote position based in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
