Recreation Leader Pro D Days – Castlegar & District Community Complex

The RDCK Community Services Department is hiring for Auxiliary Camp Leaders at the Castlegar & District Community Complex!

Coverage is needed for Pro D days.

The hourly rate for Camp Leaders (ranges are depending on experience): $19.76—$21.56.

YOU ARE:

• An enthusiastic, creative person who enjoys supporting healthy development of children & youth in a fun and engaging setting and is keen to work the spring break season in a high energy position as a Program Camp Leader.
• A friendly, professional communicator and problem solver who enjoys working as part of a great team.
• Committed to the Health & Safety of the public and participants in RDCK programs.

Available as and when needed until June 30, 2025 (possible opportunity of extending this employment to include the summer recreation camps).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency and confidence in working with children 0 – 18 years of age.
