Innovation Physical Therapy is pleased to be in a period of expansion and growth. As such, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant/Receptionist who has a mature and professional attitude to join our existing team for this long-term position.
Successful candidates will join a team of professionals who make safe and effective patient care their priority, with the goal of ensuring that every visit is an exceptional experience and that all our patients “Love Getting Better”.
Available shifts:
1. All locations
Floating Administrative Assistant/Receptionist who is available to travel to all locations, as needed for vacation coverage, sick leave, etc. Weekdays and weekends. Could move into a full-time position for the right candidate.
2. 15823 97St #209 - Innovation Physical Therapy Namao
Weekdays: 1pm to close (approx. 7pm)
Weekdays: 7am to 2pm
Weekends: Hours vary
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Key holder - opening/closing the clinic
- Answering incoming calls and check/respond to emails and voicemails in a timely manner
- Correspond with clinicians and aides
- Welcome patients, new patient intake, informing clinicians of arrived patients
- Input patient information into EMR system and bill to extended health benefits/insurance companies via various billing portals
- Check mail, apply payments, record cheques
- Report tracking and ensuring all reports are submitted in a timely manner
- Follow up with patients, take payments, book next appointments
- Handling difficult situations that require quick decision making
- Daily communication with WCB case workers, law offices, insurance adjusters
- Reconcile daily payments and complete day end logs
- Travel and cover at other clinics may be required
- This position requires cross training in PT Aide duties and to help as needed
- Maintain infection control standards: May include but not limited to cleaning treatment tables, sanitizing equipment, completing laundry, disinfecting washrooms.
- General housekeeping duties as required: cleaning surfaces, sweeping/mopping, dusting, etc. to keep work spaces clean and organized.
- Clinic organization and restocking
- Other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Professional and effective English communication skills
- Strong computer and typing skills are a must
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Independent worker who is also a strong/supportive team player
- Strong attention to detail with a friendly and positive attitude
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism
- Clear criminal record
- Professional appearance
- Must be able to work every second Saturday

Wage:
Starting from $17.00 per hour, negotiable, based on experience and other factors
