Receptionist

Become the key connection between Viterra and your community. Benefit from learning opportunities and the chance to progress your career with work that feeds your community and the world. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries and office visitors/guests in addition to completing a variety of administrative and clerical duties.

What you’ll do

  • Operate the telephone switchboard; provide information and assistance to callers including transferring calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Greet visitors and contact appropriate staff to announce their arrival.
  • Provide training for receptionist relief staff.
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor protocol.
  • Arrange all outgoing courier deliveries and accept delivery of small parcels at the main receptionist area.
  • Assist with booking of travel arrangements, meals, and meetings.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Perform ad hoc print services, as required.
  • Receive and sort daily mail.
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area and perform light housekeeping as required.
  • Advise building operations of contractors, vendors, and service personnel in the building.
