Qualifications:

• Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
• Doctorate in Medicine
• Licensure, or eligible for licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC); and mandatory coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
• Robust skills in a variety of radiological techniques, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Expertise in mammography, which encompasses obstetrical and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Ability to carry out image-guided biopsy and drainage procedures, utilizing CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy guided techniques with proficiency, and sometimes echocardiography.
• Fellowship training in areas like musculoskeletal (MSK), intervention, breast imaging, or echocardiography would greatly benefit your career development.

Hours of work: We are committed to accommodating your preferences and ensuring a suitable work-life balance.

On-call requirements: After-hours on-call coverage for CT and ultrasound is currently facilitated through teleradiology services. From 5pm to 8am on weekdays, as well as weekends and holidays, remote radiologists provide coverage for CT and ultrasound.
