Who we need

Reporting to the Director of QA, we are hiring a Quality Systems Manager to join our team in Brampton. As the new Quality Systems Manager, you will ensure the highest quality standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across our production sites in Brampton, Ontario, and Lebanon, Indiana. You will develop and implement quality policies, manage audits and inspections, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with site QA teams to resolve quality issues effectively.

What you will do:

  • Drive a culture of quality by championing a mindset where quality is everyone’s responsibility.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and certification, managing all certification processes, renewals, and execution at both sites.
  • Lead the Internal Audit Program to assess compliance and drive quality improvements.
  • Manage the Corrective Action Program, identifying, resolving, and preventing quality issues.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by being the primary liaison for customer communications.
  • Accelerate speed to market by streamlining processes for timely product launches.
  • Develop and manage the Heavy Metal Testing Program to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee database and documentation management for accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure supplier quality through the Supplier Approval Program.
  • Standardize metrics and foster continuous improvement across sites.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive quality assurance experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
  • Experience overseeing and optimizing a Quality Management System (QMS) under GFSI and HACCP standards.
  • Project management expertise to lead complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Leadership skills to manage and develop a team effectively.
  • Accountability with a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
