Volta Energy Solutions Canada Inc., based at our Granby plant, currently under construction, is a new division of the global leader, Solus Advanced Materials Co., Ltd., established in 7 countries around the world. Our division, targeting the North American market, will manufacture high-end, compact and high-performance battery copper foil used to increase the mileage of electric cars.

The Quality System Engineer will be responsible for managing and continuously improving our quality management system. They will track quality performance indicators and develop control plans to ensure operational excellence of our factory and compliance with internal and external standards. Role and Responsibilities:

1. Establishing and maintaining close relationships with customers for long-term collaboration.
2. Managing and improving the Quality Management System (QMS).
3. Managing, reviewing, e- approving, and releasing the entire documentation system.
4. Tracking and managing KPI tables, KPI data in Quality assurance.
5. Preparing Management reviews according to IATF 16949.
6. Creating annual audit plans and continuously monitoring their fulfillment.
7. Preparing departments for audits.
8. Preparing and conducting internal and external audits.
9. Summarizing audit results, sending out audit reports, and communicating audit results.
10. Monitoring non-conformities identified during audits.
11. Initiating corrective actions and tracking their implementation.
12. Moderating FMEA and 8D discussions.
13. Evaluating new quality requirements.
14. Tracking customer satisfaction.
15. Creating Control Plans.
16. Providing general Quality knowledge to new employees.
17. Creating reports and presentations on progress, status, and issues for management.
18. Collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications:

1. At least 10 years of relevant experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
3. Knowledge of Quality tools.
4. Knowledge of ISO and IATF standards.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Ability to plan, determine priorities and work to meet tight deadlines.
7. Good Excel skills.
