We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee the quality assurance and quality control activities within our chemical processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives. A strong understanding of environmental regulations and technical expertise in effective treatment processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) tailored to chemical processes. Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processes. Accountable for securing new customer approvals. Implement new technique sheet and processes.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer specification requirements and industry standards. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D and NADCAP requirements. Prepare for and manage audits. Ensure all wastewater treatment operations comply with local regulations.
Process Monitoring and Improvement: Conduct routine inspections of chemical processes to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards. Monitor key process parameters and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformities.
Testing and Inspection: Oversee in-process testing and final product inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Coordinate with laboratories for testing and analysis of Tank Chemistry. Review and approve periodic laboratory reports.
Training and Development: Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the process shop.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality processes, test results, and audit findings. Prepare reports on quality performance and present to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management & knowledge of NADCAP requirements within the chemical industry.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, regulatory requirements, and QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
