Quality Manager

Our client, a leader in the Aerospace and Defense Industry based out of Calgary, AB is looking for a Quality Manager for a full-time position who will be responsible to lead and enhance their quality assurance and control processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
2. Coordinate with Airworthiness authorities to ensure that technical airworthiness functions are performed in accordance with technical airworthiness requirements.
3. Lead internal and external audits, including supplier audits, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
4. Work with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing.
3. ASQ Certification (CQM, CQE, CMQ/OE).
4. AS9100 Lead Auditor Qualification.
5. Deep expertise in ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory compliance framework.
6. CF-18 or other aviation experience - Preferred.
7. Quality Training Instructor - Preferred.

*Must be able to obtain Canadian Secret Security Clearance.*
