You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) that aligns with MX Program QMS and industry standards/regulations. (project specific SSE & YNSE)
• Collaborating with stakeholders, such as MX, IO, TTC, City of Toronto, and other third parties, for quality planning and defining objectives and requirements for different project phases.
• Overseeing construction quality activities such as audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
• Monitoring construction quality measures and evaluating project deliverables, materials, and workmanship.
• Providing training programs to enhance quality awareness and competency among project personnel.
• Managing the identified non-conformities by the IDPT team, and ensuring the contractor is implementing corrective actions.
• Providing quality reporting to evaluate the performance of the contractor.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and risk management to ensure the project's success.
• Conducting internal audits on the IDPT and any additional duties, as deemed necessary to support the deliverables and Key Activities during ASP.

You’ll need to have:

• Development, implementation and maintenance of quality management system in large and complex infrastructure projects conforming to ISO 9001 Standard or equivalent.
• Experience in overseeing implementation of quality program based on ISO 9001:2015 structuring.
• Experience with conducting internal and external audits based on ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements.
• Experience with NCR management and verification of the implementation of the corrective action.
• Dynamic leadership and employee engagement skills.
• Demonstrates leadership and core competencies at a high level of development and is an exemplary model of living the corporate values and code of ethics.
• Provides senior leadership quality metrics for key performance indicators.
• Provides senior leadership to management leads that are dedicated to each of the functional teams, as required.
• Experience with construction quality oversight in a live railway operating environment and a busy and congested urban environment.

You’ll also have:

• Degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or equivalent.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years relevant experience with at least ten (10) years’ experience in P3, progressive delivery model, and DBB projects.
• Certified QMS 2015 auditor or have experience in a similar quality management representative role for a transit project of a similar scope to this project and have successfully completed an ISO 9001 lead auditor course.
