- Understanding customer and stakeholder requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Devising specifications for products/processes
- Setting raw material requirements for suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
- Conducting an assessment of the company's production processes and curating in-house quality policies
- Ensure that the manufacturing processes comply with both local and global production standards
- Collaborating with quality personnel for the implementation of systems, procedures, and standards of operation
- Conducting quality audits to ensure that the quality policies are being adhered to
- Training quality assurance personnel for building a strong work unit
- Establishing procedures for sampling, recording and reporting data
- Assure that quality inspectors are well trained in support of their career development paths and the company's growth plans
Leadership and Collaboration
- Direct leadership of the site operational QA employees
- Manage and supervise QC laboratory activities
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback
- Collaborate with team and cross-functional partners
- Evaluate data, assess and develop options
- Strong understanding of national building code
Requirements and Skills
- A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good technical and IT skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
- Certification in quality control will be a strong advantage.
- 3+ years of experience in quality management
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of math, data analysis, and statistical methods.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Training in environmental monitoring and auditing will be appreciated.
